**FIRST ENTRY**

This is my site, it is in need of improvements, I know but for now this is what I got .

I created this site for a number of reasons, one to have a place to put all my philosophies and beliefs and such on; two to have as a personal web page to put all kinds of stuff about me and my world onto (it seems that is the point of having a personal website..heh heh..) and to post my 'pictures'...lmfao.

well, made some changes, added my lyrics for 'Counting The Days', the list of songs i never really got to play; oh well..

made some announcements as well, and a new journal entry if anyone cares 

Yesterday was 420, and hopefully at least a few stoners overdosed and died

**NEW UPDATES, ARTICLES UP**

allright, i dont have much time..outside of my work out schedule, alicia, my friends, martial arts and school to write much as far as articles go, but i'm trying.

my essay on Choice is posted in the Philosophy section, i suggest you all take a look at it, its also on the Veritas Academy site, look under the posts of 'Enlightenment'.

Martial arts has a new update as well, a brief summary of Xingyiquan, should be helpful

also, a new journal entry..although if you're not in the mood to read sad junk, i dont reccomend reading my entries..for a while, considering all i've had is bad days for as long as i can remember; but that's life..i ignore them to the best of my ability and press on..because i've realized for the most part i can only depend on myself for help..i can try to think i can ask for help from others..but in all reality im the only one i can depend on...

**UPDATE TIME!!*

That's right, I know you've been waiting for it..another update: I'm going to be adding more stuff later today, for now only an essay or two I found interesting.

I'm going to add some stuff on physical training, as well as my modified training schedule for this summer.  I think it is rather good.  Also, as soon as I can talk to some of my martial arts, buddies, I'll be constructing a few articles on boxing, when you should and shouldnt strike with a fist, and my style and perception on it. I am a far better boxer than a kicker, and I'm a damned good kicker , so expect only good things from this (these).

also, I will be adding on a few articles in the philosophy section, sometime this week..when it will happen depends really on how much schoolwork I have to do this week, and how much training I decide to do, etc. etc.; the articles will be on the concept of Yi (emotional mind), confidence, perseverance, learning through the self before others, intent and making it known not just in fighting but all throughout life which will also feature some bits on empathy, and basic Chi Kung (QiGong) not just for martial artists, but for relieving stress, healing, etc.

all in all I think I'm doing a good job; this summer I will be away from the computer much, to let everyone know, my strict training schedule, and working possibly will hinder my time on the computer; and when I'm on the computer, it will be most likely only to talk to Alicia..so dont expect many updates once it kicks into mid-June.

One more thing, I added a journal entry finally for all you weirdos who like to know about how I'm feeling and/or my private life.

That's about it, now I have to go to school..and when I get home I may add some articles..or sleep , only got 2 hours last night..ugh, pretty tired.

**SITE GOING THROUGH CHANGES, PLEASE BEAR WITH ME**

As the title says, the site is going through massive development, I have, however taken the liberty to construct more articles for you all to enjoy, a few on psychology, a few on martial arts and a few on philosophy, all in all enjoyable.  All areas of the website will be re-vamped, due to the high amount of changes that have presented themselves to me, as well as the fruits of my training are ripening, and I am beginning to construct a guide to martial arts for newbies, considering that many, and I repeat MANY newbies will go and go about it the wrong way, then they wind up wasting however much money they invested into the martial arts.  This is something I have grown strongly tired of.

As well, I am adding a rants section to the site, yes..this is where you all can see my opinions on things..that arent as civilized as my articles can be.  This will pretty much be my section where I bitch about whatever.  Dont like it? too bad .  Rants may be located in Journal, I am not sure where I am going to put it yet..for now it will be in the Journal, until I decide whether or not to take out one of the main sections for it, and if I do..then which one.

A basic manual to weight training for the commonday martial artist is also in way, how to build up definition of muscles without causing yourself to gain those big, buldgy disgusting muscles; because..no matter how strong you are, a punch is still a punch, and someone who is very strong's punch will actually be weaker than one who is just as strong but didnt get all BIG; why? because your muscle power has little to do with the velocity of your punch, if your punch is going at a very fast speed, then it will do immense damage, compared to one delivered from a big strong guy who's arms cant move that fast.  Strength contributes to about...1/16th of the total power of a punch :|.  Grappling is where strength is really the key factor, not Boxing though.

Also, I am going to be writing a "Guide to Self-Truth" article, as I call it.  Do not expect this one for a while, unless I am suddenly struck with exactly the right words to say soon; reason being that I do not wish to write such a serious article until I know I can make it the best possible.  This is NOT a step-by-step instructional guide to finding inner-truth, nay, for not one person can help you find inner truth..or rather can show you the entire way to it.  This is just me entailing how I have found bits and pieces of truth within myself, and how it is a continuing task.  That's right, it doesnt end, just as the martial arts do not, finding inner-truth is a never ending path.  For everything around you is always changing.  Things become modified and improved upon as you go; and what is not improved upon, is messed up..but somewhere along the lines of all of this, you see the error of your ways, and you construct a solution to the problems at hand.

Well, now off to work more on other aspects of the website, enjoy my articles; do not expect many updates until the school year begins once again (), because I am training, and doing much work so that I am able to create the articles that are so helpful to all of you already (at least, I hope are, .)

**UPDATE TIME**

Not much really going on here, finally found the perfect Kung Fu school for me; it teaches Jun Fan, Praying Mantis and Wing Chun; as well as it adds a sense of realism to the teaching, something many schools outside of Jun Fan do not do; no, instead they'll say "If your opponent does this..then you do this..yadda yadda yadda", and it is ultimately useless.  In the words of Bruce Lee, the founder of Jun Fan, "combat is always fresh, always new, always changing; if one cannot understand this, then lead a less agressive lifestyle, or hire a bodyguard".

Also, adding a new page..about something , dont know yet though.  It will either be something incredibly mushy for Alicia, a list about books, or a sepparate page on psychology.  Havent decided yet; but as far as the rants section, that will be in the Journal.  This site is steadily progressing..but for now it remains a personal website on which I share my opinions, and share my articles; it is nothing like an academy, instead a place where you take in the information, then form it into what you.
