32nd MIR tactics

Okay as you know by now the 32nd MIR is a tactical gaming community and it has high requirements for new recrutes but when you actually start to fight decently it's great fun and you get to meet great people.

I just want to go over some of the tactics we will use when we have the clan at a full boom.

First off though I want every one to realize this is more of a remembrance for soldiers who fought for us in the past and that they be remembered as heros, not criminals.

They were all willing to risk every thing for us just to protect us and I want them to be remembered.

The battlefield is a dynamic place, it's constantly changing thus its troops need the ability to change with it.  The consept of using teamwork dates back to the very start of mankind and our origins.  We are one of few creatures in this world capable of the advanced teamwork that we do.  Wolfs are also prone for teamwork, they are incredibly skilled how they suround their prey with steath then pounce all at once, that in of itself shows how truly effective teamwork can be.

Now onto the tactics.

1. Blitzkrieg, we all know and love this one as it was used not only by Nazi Germany but also by soldiers in Iraq in both Operation Iraqi freedom in 2001 and Operation Desert Storm back in the nintey's.

2. Gurella warfare as it was used during the revolutionary war in order to ensure our freedom as a country which most people don't realize.

3. Squad based fire and manuver, this is a well known tactic but most gamers don't find this a serious threat to them here is our chance to prove them wrong.

4. Static defence, now normaly we will be on offence but a good defence is just as effective as a good offence.

5. suicide charges ONLY if the situation dictates.

6. Beach landings if we have no other options to attack a beachhead, and have a large advantage over the enemy.

7. Indescrimanant bombings and arson only if it gets as bad as Stalingrad 1942-43 (which we hope doesn't happen, I mean REALLY hope.)

8. Shock and awe, or rapid dominance as it is known, is another common tactic we will use in order to (hopefully) scare the enemy into a safe surrender.

9. Inteligence gathering, we don't want our well trained soldiers going into the killing fields like foolish tourists now do we?

10. Special forces insugency, in other words hitting behind enemy lines as quickly and as quietly as posible then getting them the hell out of there before the OpFors realize their there.

I shall now update the tactical information.  ^.^

11. Ambushing is a good way to catch your opponent off guard, but it's risky because it's very hard to set it up effectively.  One way to do this is use the formation called the "L" formation, it's one of the best that I know of.  Another way you could do it if you're a rookie is the double column formation that every one and their grand mother knows of.  ^.^

12. City offensives are extremely picky situations if you intend to win at these you'll need constant knowledge of your surroundings and constant communication with your troops.  Another thing you need to learn is how to take your time, just running though a city will just get you and your men mowed down like June 6, 1944 Juno beach.  -_-'  Anyway, one major reason is the fact that you have to assume that around every corner and in every building and every room all have OpFors in them.
