The route is shaping up (sort of) at least I know I'm starting at Land's End! I'll be coming through Shrewsbury rather than Telford. A rough plan is to get to the Cheddar area on day 1. I just might be able to find a bed for the night with a friend. I would then hope to get to Shrewsbury by the end of day 2! That's over 300 miles in two days - I might not make it! From then on the route is up to Runcorn and over the Mersey to Widnes. Up the A6 then to Glasgow, Glen Coe, The Great Glen, Lairg and then the remotest road north!
Wikipedia informs me midges aren’t that speedy, but “can quickly gather again if a person stops moving” this may do wonders for my average speed! I’m sure I can look forward to some inhalation experiences.
Consider that hello said – I’ll even have an ice cream for you!
I can cycle to the local shops, but not back as the bike would have been nicked!
For me money is the ultimate performance booster
Mentalist as in - "psychic" entertainers whose illusions feature the ability to read minds, project the mind to alter the state of matter, foretell the future, and see distant and hidden objects?
Last but not least thanks for the generous performance booster – did I mention the lengthy detours I had planned???

Obviously Questionable !
As Justin says (Guestbook) 'speed is your friend' - unfortunately imovable objects are an implacable enemy!
I'm not sure why Kate thinks I'm a 'mentalist' as although my CV may be varied it has never suggested that I've been a "psychic" entertainer whose illusions feature the ability to read minds, project the mind to alter the state of matter, foretell the future, and see distant and hidden objects !
