Day 8 John O'Groats to Inverness!

Might have reached John O'Groats, but not finished quite yet. Just the small matter of 120 miles to get to Inverness, which will get me past another milestone anyway...
13:20: At Bora, over half way...
15:19: 1000 miles!!! 32 to go, I hope!
17:00: Approaching Inverness over the Black Isle the side wind on the Kessock Bridge meant it was the one point where I had to get off and walk. The final 8 miles were straight back into the wind and took the best part of an hour to complete!
19:00: Made it (despite head winds and long queues at airport Avis desk) - OK, Four Wheels not all bad - especially after 8 days in the saddle! Homeward bound ....

Grabbed a couple of naps and some food at services on M74 before calling it a night/morning at a lay-by on the B7076 near Beattock.
