Thank you for your interest in my small herd. I am located in Freeland WA on Whidbey Island, about 40 miles NW of Seattle. I have been breeding and raising Alpines for about ten years now. We raise primarily for show, but are hoping to start making soap in 2008. The entire herd tested negative for CAE on 3/21/08.  We test every other year for CL, last year the herd tested negative. All kids are taken at birth and bottle raised on heat treated colostrum and pasturized milk.

Goats started out as a hobby for me, I joined 4-H shortly after receiving Harmony. We went through many years together. Showing at our local fair and all over Western Washington. We went to Many state fairs together and did well. I was lucky enough to attend the 05 national show in Spokane. I only took two Sr. Does. Tempo (Harmony daughter) was 19th milking yearling. It was very exciting. I'm still heavily involved with the local 4-H program in my county, and enjoy teaching young members.

The herd consists mostly of American Alpines, however 2008 marks the start of my purebred line. We have always had purebred bucks. But this year we got one Cou Clair marked French doe kid. Juno is a beatiful doe, Thank you Diana of Whiskey Hill Farm!

I strive to breed a dairy doe that not only does well in show ring, but milks well and kids easily. She needs to be hardy and productive along with having good confirmation. Kids can be reserved on a first deposit received first served basis. A $75. non-refundable deposit will hold the kid of your choice. Please pick a second choice if the kid you reserved is not available. I reserve the right to retain ANY kid born. If the kid of your choice is not available then your deposit will be quickly refunded. Animals MUST be paid for in full before shipping. If you live locally I do make payment plans however, I will hold the papers on the animal until the animal is paid for in full. I do accept personal checks, but the papers again will be held until the check clears the bank. This is only for my personal safety.

I will not sell any bucks that I would not keep myself. Bucks out of first fresheners will be sold only after thirty days of evalution of the dam. I reserve the right to purchase 20 units of semen for the cost of collection, on any buck sold (mature and kids).

Thanks again for your interest. I hope you enjoy my site!
