The Cheeky Monkey Marathon Challenge
We had a lot of fun during this activity. What the Beavers had to do was complete a list of 26 activities. That might sound easy peasy to you reading this but actually a lot of the Beavers found some of the challenges hard work. On the list there were 26 activities which had to be completed 26 times, for example blinking 26 times and doing 26 star jumps. Also, they had to get creative and dance to 2 music tracks. One of these was the Fast Food Rockers with the Fast Food Song and the other was Axel F with the Crazy Frog song which they all enjoyed thoroughly. All of the proceeds went to a charity that cares for children who have pneumonia and between all of the Beavers, around £200 was raised. Well Done to all of you.

What do we get up to?
There are various activities that the beavers do on a tuesday night.
On the 20th June the Community First Responders came and did a 45 minute talk with the Beavers teaching them all different aspects of being a Community First Responder. One of the things they learnt was DR ABC.
D = Danger
R = Response
A = Airway
B = Breathing
C = Circulation
Also, every tuesday night the Beavers play a lot of games ranging from "spin the bottle" to "traffic lights" which they all enjoy.
Anybody is welcome to come along on a tuesday night and join in the fun and games. There is also a very friendly atmosphere amongst the children and the leaders.
