Each person on our team conforms to one of the following roles.
Rifleman- A basic assault troop who makes up the backbone of the team. They should have a mid-grade AEG or high quality/high power spring rifles capable of keeping up with keeping up with mid-grade AEGs. Rifles like the UHC MP5SD3 or UTG MP5A4/A5 are good examples. They should also carry spring or gas pistols as sidearms. Spring weapon FPS may not exceed 475 FPS with a .2g BB and AEGs can't exceed 400 FPS with a .2g BB. Preferably, one of the riflemen carries an AEG with a very high capacity magazine to use as a SAW.
RTO- The radio telephone operator stays with the rifle team and carries similar gear, but also carries the radio so the riflemen can stay in contact with the sniper team and recon unit.
Sniper- A sniper. Stays apart from the assault team but moves at the same time and direction. This way, they are part of the advancing force but don't get hit. They should find a good location away from the rest of the riflemen to provide precise sniper fire on targets of opportunity, making the attack easier on the riflemen. A sniper rifle with a long range scope and a range of 150+ feet is recommended. Also the sniper should carry a spring or, preferably, gas pistol so he can defend him- or herself if the spotter is killed. For camoflauge ghillie is recommended for the sniper to wear.
Spotter- A soldier who helps the sniper aquire targets. The spotter also carries the radio for the sniper team so the sniper doesn't have to stop searching or shooting to contact the rest of the squad. In addition to this, the spotter must also guard the sniper and protect him or her from ambushes both when moving and when in a sniping postion. Spotters should travel with light equipment, because they must carry ammuntion, the radio, scope attachments, and other supplies for the sniper. A light electric is very good for the spotter because the sniper can take care of long range targets but can't defend himself against close targets.
Recon- A soldier who finds the enemy location and observes, radioing this information to the rifle team's RTO who passes it to the squadleader. The recon should avoid detection and should, like the sniper, wear ghillie to camoflauge him- or herself. The recon should also avoid conflict and should run back to base if detected. The recon should have a high quality spring rifle or AEG and a sidearm. Binoculars are a must.
