The Bungalow

Palms Villa is our own privately owned luxury 2 bedroom bungalow which has been refurbished and extended to a very high standard being completed in 2007.  It is not just a basic holiday let that you see advertised. It is situated in a secure gated complex on the Golf Del Sur, Tenerife. The complex has 4 pools with one of them heated in winter from November to February.

Inside

There are 2 double bedrooms, the main bedroom has a king size bed with patio doors leading onto the front terrace, there is a large built in wardrobe and bedside cabinets. This room also has air conditioning to cool the room for a good nights sleep. The other bedroom is a good size with a double bed and a ensuite bathroom which includes a shower. This bedroom also has a large built in wardrobe and fans. The bathroom is adjacent to the main bedroom and has a bath with shower over. There is a spacous lounge with patio doors leads onto the rear terrace which has sun loungers, table and chairs all with padded cushions. There is a large ceiling fan in the lounge. There is also a television with english channels (BBC 1, BBC2, ITV, CH4 & CH5 plus 2 film channels), DVD player, CD/Radio and a Ipod player/dock station. 

The kitchen is all new with fully fitted with oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster and microwave. 

Outside

There are 3 sun terraces, the main one is at the back overlooking the private gardens and the pool area, the second is on the front of the Bungalow with the third being a private roof terrace - ideal for late night cocktails as the sun goes down. There is also a charcoal BBQ available for use.

The Complex

The bungalow is on a The Palms Golf and Country Club and is a gated complex set in lovelly tropical gardens with 4 swimming pools. The bungalow is situated between two of the pools which are only a few steps away. Also there is also the clubhouse/bar/restaurant on site adjacent to the main pool which is very friendly and is excellent value for money. They also have nightly entertainment. The Wednesday night barbecue is excellent and well worth trying. There is pay internet in the bar and free WiFi.

Golf del Sur / The Palms area

There is a very small man made sandy beach within 10 minutes walk next to the new marina, with bars and restaurants.
There are large sandy beaches in Los Christianos and Las Americas that are 15 minutes drive away.
There is a local commercial centre of San Blas with many different restaurants and shops about 15 minute walk away or 20 minutes if you walk along the lovely coastal path. A further ten minutes gets you to the quaint village of Los Abrigos with its many fish restaurants and harbour.
There are windsurfing beaches of El Medano only a 10 minute drive away.
Los Chistianos and Playa De Las Americas can easily be reached by car, local bus or taxi.

Adjacent to The Palms is a championship golf course which is a 5 minute stroll.

Golf Del Sur is very close to Reina Sofia Airport and a taxi will cost approx 15 euro.
