Rules and Scoring
Here's a breakdown of how points are scored, all points are added up at the end of a match. A team cannot score less than 0, but there is no maximum points for a match.
A win is worth 25 points
A draw is worth 10 points
A defeat is worth 5 points
Each red card is worth -5 points
Each yellow card is worth -2 points
An away win is worth 3 points
An away draw is worth 1 point
A home draw is worth -1 point
A home dfeat is worth -3 points
Posession:
Anything between 44.1% to 55.9% does not score.
56% and above is worth 1 point, for every 2 percentage points thereafter another point is added (i.e. 64% possession is worth 5 points).
44% and below is worth -1 point, for every 2 percentage points thereafter another point is deducted (i.e. 36% possession is worth -5 points)
Results:
Scores worth no points = 0-0
Scores worth 1 point for Win/Draw, -1 point for Defeat = 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 2-2, 3-2, 4-3, 5-4, 6-5, 7-6, 8-7, 9-8
Scores worth 2 points for Win/Draw, -2 points for Defeat = 2-0, 3-1, 3-3, 4-2, 4-4, 5-3, 6-4, 7-5, 8-6, 9-7
Scores worth 3 points for Win/Draw, -3 points for Defeat = 3-0, 4-1, 5-2, 5-5, 6-3, 6-6, 7-4, 8-5, 9-6
Scores worth 4 points for Win/Draw, -4 points for Defeat = 4-0, 5-0, 5-1, 6-1, 6-2, 7-2, 7-3, 7-7, 8-3, 8-4, 8-8, 9-4, 9-5, 9-9
Scores worth 5 points for Win/Draw, -5 points for Defeat = 6-0, 7-0, 7-1, 8-1, 8-2, 9-2, 9-3
Scores worth 6 points for Win/Draw, -6 points for Defeat = 8-0, 9-0, 9-1
Points Differences:
For draw:
0 points up to 99 points difference.
1 point/-1 point for 100-149 points difference.
2 points/-2 points for 150-199 points difference.
1 point/-1 point for every 100 points difference thereafter (i.e. 1000 point difference is worth 11 points/-11 points)
For Win/Defeat:
0 points up to 49 points difference.
1 point/-1 point for 50-99 points difference.
2 points/-2 points for 100-149 points difference.
3 points/-3 points for 150-199 points difference.
1 point/-1 point for every 100 points difference thereafter (i.e. 1000 point difference is worth 12 points/-12 points)
