Hey everyone. A very brand new volume of the FLCL (Fooly Cooly) manga series has been released as of this month, and is now available at a bookstore near you! It's a paperback novel for teens (13+) which contains 144 pages for $10.99. I'd say the manga is substantially different from the anime. It defines the series with all of the key elements to it, but loses some details and the dialouge kinda changes. However, the manga gets pretty heavy on the explicit and violent scenes compared to the anime show you may, or might have seen. With this, most people believe that the manga is actually quite better than the anime. But, I guess really, you'll have to find that out for yourself.

My personal opinion: Fooly Cooly is quite the comedic series for teens to read and understand. (If you get the title, that is.) Other than that, the series can hold alot of thought and emotional depth to it, but otherwise, for some people it can often lead you off-track if you don't follow the storyline. Regardless, it's a great series. Hajime Ueda’s artwork is beautiful for it's roughly outlined inked objects and shade areas. Despite it's simple art, the manga was produced by Gainax and the experienced artist, Ueda.

I must say. Youhna's a pretty popular korean artist for her music. Her second album, "Someday", was released last year (August 28, 2008) but I posted this here for a reason. I am absolutely inlove with this album! I think it's a must listen if you're also a Utada Hikaru fan. Or, if you're into J-POP or the like. I guarantee that if you like jpop, you'll love this album. All of the songs in her Someday album are either you absolute "love it", or you like it. Youhna was the artist for "Houki Boshi" from one the most popular anime, Bleach's 5th opening. She's a remarkable artist, and I'm sure you curious people out there thinking about listening to her album, do it! You'll fall inlove with her album like I did!

The site's layout has been changed! Please ignore the log-in and search engine. They won't work until I actually figure out how to make them. As for the anime and manga reviews, in the past, I've held off on those for quite sometime now. And I thought to myself about how much I really miss and want to get this site started up and running again. So, I'm gonna try to make this work as much as possible. But I will be needing lots of help for these reviews. The media can wait. I just need to concentrate on these reviews for now.
