T.E.A.C.H. Community Needs Assessment

Preliminary Results from Halton Mental Health Consumers

Well the results are in!  Through our discussions with mental health consumers in Halton, we have a good sense of how folks in Halton are feeling about mental health services in general, and TEACH, in particular.  The needs assessment brought together small groups of mental health consumers (focus group format) to talk about their experiences with mental health services in Halton, and to identify gaps in and barriers to accessing mental health services.

We also talked to service providers about ways that we can partner as mental health organizations in order to provide the most relevant and effective services to Halton consumers.

Much thanks to the individuals who participated in the needs assessment.
