ROVERS  -   Young adults 18 to 16 years

Activity unlimited!

Immmagination and motivation are all that Rovers need to enter a world of high adventure and personal achievement.

Rovers can find themselves -

• Climbing a rockface
• Hiking thorugh rugged bushland in a test of their survival skills
• Experiencing the exhilation of hang gliding
• Travelling interstate or overseas to a Rover or Scouting event, or -
• Just enjoying the company of their friends in Rovers on an evening out together.

Opportunity!

The Rover program gives young adults the opportunity to further develop their leadership and management skills.  Rovers are a self governing  body that work together as a Crew in planning and managing the Crew activities.

Make a Difference!

As concerned members of the community, Rovers can become involved in environmental projects or assisting groups of people with special needs.

Fun and Friendship!

Rovers manage their own affairs and have their own campsite for which they are responsible (Mafeking Rover Park).  They organise events such as Mud Bash and Surf Moot where Rover Crews from all over the state attend and join in the fun and friendship.
