1st Lower Templestowe Scout Group

Welcome to the 1st Lower Templestowe Scout Group

The 1st Lower Templestowe Scout Group is located at the Scout Hall, Ted Ajani Reserve, Thompsons Road, Lower Templestowe (Melways 32 K7).

We provide Scouting activities for both kids and adults through Cubs (ages 8 - 10), Scouts (ages 10- 14 years), Venturers (ages 14 -17 years) and Rovers (ages 17 - 25). The group has been established for some time, recently celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2005.

Throughout all of the Sections, friendly enthusiastic Leaders offer quality programs with interaction and development paramount.  Scouting is all about 'learning by doing', but there is also a lot of fun involved.  Programs are tailored to the age groups but as they progress through the sections, they are learning independence and self reliance through the Patrol system, as introduced by Lord Baden-Powel, the founder of the Scouting Movement.

2008 is the Centenary of Scouting in Australia.  There are lots of fantastic events planned Statewide, so it is a great time to get involved with our progressive Group.  Check out our calendar and see what is happening!

The Sections meet at the hall on the following nights.

Joeys   Ages 6 - 8   Monday: 6 - 7pm

Cubs   Ages 8 - 10   Wednesday: 7 -8.30pm

Scouts   Ages 10 - 14   Friday: 7.30 - 9.30pm

Venturers   Ages 14 - 17   Thursday: 7.30 - 9.30pm

Rovers   Ages 17 - 25   Monday: 8 - 10pm
