Welcome to the 1 Para Mortar Platoon web site.
The site has been put together to allow all Serving and Ex members of the platoon to keep in touch with each other and to give them a forum in which they can swop stories, Photographs and any other information.
There are a number of sections on the site to look at and interact with, the most popular of which seem to be the Photo's pages.
We have been up and running now for just over a year, and I am glad to be able to say that in the 1st 12 months the site had 14,325 hits.
So here it is lads, make use of it and most of all enjoy..!

How to do it..!
Its basic but as they taught us (keep it simple).!
Stories, questions, photos, Lies, Semi Truths infact anything send to me at my e mail address which will be at the bottom of the page and providing its not so disgusting that I end up doing 4 years in Dartmoor for I'll add it at regular periods.
So don't be shy .. (not that any of you ever were) drop a line to me and lets get this show on the road. I've used up my supply of decent happy snaps, so if anyone has a few they would like on the site, send them to me on my e mail address at the bottom of this page and I'll put them on.
To become a member of the site: e mail me at the address below and include your name and details of when you were in the mortars, I will then send you an invite to join. click the link and your in.
