Updated: July 15,2006

Fire Station 619 is located in the South Riding Community of Loudoun County. Fire Station 619 protects a growing community of approx. 8000 people (and still growing) in an area of about 10 square miles. Our first due is mainly residential with areas of industrial mixed in.

Currently with our Automatic Aid Agreement with Fairfax County , our station now responds into Fairfax when needed to assist on calls or to cover calls when Fairfax units are already tied up. Additionally, Fairfax County will send units over to Loudoun to assist us with calls when needed.

Fire Station 619 houses an Engine Company, Ambulance and the Hazardous Material Unit. Our personnel also serve as the counties Hazardous Materials Team.  Additionally, Battalion 603 runs out of our station.

Busy Day on July 12th
Units from  Dulles South Fire Station 619 had their hands full on Wednesday July 12th when South Riding was hit by strong thunderstorms. Units responded to numerous lightning strikes, alarms, and ems incidents. In all we ran over 20 calls in a 10 hour period. Our day started off with a bang when we were the 3rd Engine in on a working house fire in FS 607's first due.
