The stamps were available either singly or in a stamp presentation pack with a pop-up illustration from most post offices priced £1.90. The pack was illustrated with other stars of the small screen including Basil Brush and “Watch with Mother” favourites Andy Pandy and the Woodentops.

Clangers fans may be more interested in the series of postcards accompanying the stamps as these show our knitted friends in considerably more detail these were a bargain at 25 pence each. The fanatical Clanger fan however may have only been satisfied by the purchase of a sheet of 100 Clanger stamps but at £37 this definitely not for everyone. The stamps may be purchased from Stanley Gibbons, 399 Strand, London WC2R 0LX. +44 (0)171 836-8444.
