Vote for Froglet

This is a brief video clip of “Vote for Froglet!” the lost Clangers episode. It was created as a special to accompany the 1974 election in Britain - the second that year - and was broadcast to the general public on election night, the 10^th October 1974. Since then the sole copy has resided at the BBC archives in Brentford (16mm reel PL231902 with corresponding sound track reel PL231903).

Being a special it has a much weaker storyline and visual content than the main series but it is never the less a valid Clangers artefact. Only 16 second are presented here from the original 8 minutes / 300 feet of a section 3 minutes into the film at a point where Small Clanger and a froglet have formed their party and start to canvass for votes.

Please note that this movie is 1.16 MB in size and that it does not include sound due to distortion added by my present set-up.
