Residential Structure Fire 5-8-07: On May 8th at 6:35pm Kennedy vfd was dispacthed to 821 grey ave to assist Mckees Rocks vfd with a residential structure fire. The buildings had 2 homes in each building. The fire started in 821 and then spread to 6 other homes. thier is a total of 7 families now homeless. This fire started as a shed fire then turned into a 5 alarm fire. Some fire companies include Mckees Rocks sta 189, West Park sta 276, Fleming Park sta 275, Preston sta 277, Kennedy sta 181, Emsworth sta 148, Ben Avon sta 109 EMS sta 191, Mckees Rocks PD, Salvation Army. MVA 5-25-07: At 16:57 on Friday May 25th Kennedy VFD was dispatched for a 3 car accident in front of 919 McCoy Road. Chief was on scene and called off all trucks all occupants were out of the vehicles and nobody was injured. 2 of the 3 cars needed to be towed and one was still drive able.

MVA 2-13-08: On wednesday at 10:28 in the morning station 181 and EMS station 191 were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with possible entrapment on route 51 right befor Ewing road by the construction entrance. Chief 181, rescue 181, medic 191 and, medic 195-2 were enroute within minutes. Due to the time of the day and the type of call chief 181 then requested that rescue 275 (Flemming Park) and rescue 243 (Forest Grove) be dispatched for additional manpower. Once on scene chief cancelled 275 and 243 becuse the patient was not trapped in the vehicle. Crews from the rescue assisted EMS with removing the patient from the car and provided traffic control. Crews cleared the scene within 30 min.
