The Kennedy Township Independent Volunteer Fire Company is located at 1796 Pine Hollow Road. We currently have 32 active firefighters who are volunteer. The Kennedy Twp Fire Company has 6 pieces fire apparatus. 1 engine, 1 rescue, 1 squirt, 1 brush, 1 utility and, 1 special services. The Fire Department has a weekly training night every Monday night at 6:45 any body can stop by and check things out. The Fire Department has a social hall that anybody in the public can rent and has a firemans club located on Fairhaven Road. The Firedepartment also has a weekly bingo every Friday night early bird is at 8:00 pm and reular bingo is at 10:00 pm. The Kennedy Township Fire Department is dispacthed by Allegheny County 911.
