16 Guidelines: The Basics
16 Guidelines: The Basics is our essential 16 Guidelines 'user manual' and workbook with quotes, stories, challenges and reflections for each guideline together with an overview of each of the four widom themes. Translations are now ongoing into 10 additional languages.
Also among the additional features of this edition of The Basics are a space for notes at the end of the book, and a wirobound spine -- so it will lie open when laid flat on a surface, making it much easier to use in reflections.
Ready Set Happy
Ready Set Happy is our 16 Guidelines resources pack created by Denise Flora and her son for use by children, parents and teachers. 150 pages of games, scientific experiments, poems, songs and stories.
Ready Set Happy is available for download! You can:

-- Download the Ready Set Happy posters based on the 16 Guidelines
-- Download sets of highlights pages, based on the book, to post on a wall (one guideline per page) or to share (four per page)

16 Guidelines for Children: Highlights Pages

Sixteen posting-size sheets and sixteen sharing-size postcards make up the 16 Guidelines Highlights Pages for children. Each page or postcard has, for each guideline: a description or definition, photos, illustrations and an affirming phrase.
You can use these to post on the wall, for handouts, for the refrigerator, for positive acknowledgments or to build the vocabulary of the guidelines.
16 to Live By

16 to Live By is a project that will support young people aged 14 - 19 years in their own lives and communities in taking unified and courageous actions to help others.
The 16 to live By project aims to produce a DVD, website and magazine trio of resources, which will offer educators and young people an intractive tool that takes a fresh look at ethics, philosophy and politics in the new millennium.

16 Guidelines Playing Cards
16 Guidelines Playing Cards are a study and practice aid designed to be used in 'reframing' difficult situations and looking at them in a positive way through the lens of one of the guidelines.
The cards are an excellent complement to any of the 16 Guidelines books.
Sets of cards are supplied to participants of training courses and can be purchased (packed in an attractive case) via the Essential Education office at £5 a set plus postage.
Centres can order boxes of 50 sets of cards plus cases at a wholesale price of £3.50 each, plus postage.
16 Guidelines: Up Close

16 Guidelines: Up Close is a beautiful photographic book in A4 format, published in October 2007.
Up Close links each Guideline with a modern-day role model, illustrated with quotes and true stories taken from around the world.
A limited number of copies remain, which can be ordered from the Essential Education office at £25 each, plus postage.
Preparados, Listos...
Preparados, Listos... is an illustrated paperback based on Ready Set Happy, but translated and adapted for use by Spanish teachers and children.
It is published by Educacion Universal and is available from Ediciones Dharma (dharma@edicionesdharma.com).
16 Guidelines Study Guide

The 16 Guidelines Study Guide is a ready-made outline created by 16 Guidelines master trainer Rasmus Hougaard as a guide for anyone who would like to faciltiate a 16 Guidelines study group.
The study guide is available for download in English and French (both PDF format), for which we ask a voluntary donation of £4.

Help Us Create More Resources

We are looking for support to create further Essential Education publications, such as a low-cost 20-page digest of the 16 Guidelines for use in schools and colleges.
We are also putting together a science library, and commissioning translations.
