14FR003 & 167 in portable station on 14FR/AT134 Rât island, west France.
Portable station in d.62, 185 meters up the sea level.
The first experience in portable station (in 1997) with battery 12v 50Ah, Jackson, ampli 100w and 3 elts Delta Loop...with my brother Rod (14FR015, 14ED016, 14IR016)
On my second "QTH portable". in 2000, I have a car....more easy to bring all material, hahaaha!

Rod at mike....1570 QSO in 4 active days...really great experience (on the mike from 6h until 19h...)
in February 2003... work with IC706mkiig, 100w & long wire 23 meters with balun.
After 13 hours of pile ups on 90IR/0.... little Pina Colada at discothek !!!
Rod & Gui at Heraklion harbour...only 14°c outside in February...
