Block Watches in Palms-Westside Village

The Palms-Westside Village Neighborhood Watch is not conventional block neighborhood watch.  It is a crime information network.  It encourages traditional block neighborhood watches such as the ones listed below.

Gisa Nico, gisanico@yahoo.com  who runs Buttlerfly Garden Presschool http://www.butterflygardenpreschool.com/ and her husband David Nico have a neighborhood watch in the eastern part of Palms.  People who live on Cardiff, Jasmine, Tabor and around there, between Venice Blvd. and the #10 freeway come.  The meet at 3724 Cardiff Ave.  They hold the meetings on the last Tues. of the month starting at 7 pm.  They provide light refreshments.  The meetings generally last an hour (sometimes a bit longer).

There are additional block watches who do not want to be listed and only welcome their direct neighbors.
