Flight Sim Launch on Open Day
On 16 March 2008 we held a parents open day starting with a formal parade inspected by Wing Commander G Chapman, OC No.1 Welsh Wing. This was followed by a performance by the squadron band, and then 286 certificates and some medals were presented to our cadets for their performance over the past year. The Wing Comander then made the inaugural flight in our new flight simulator with the help of Cadet Flight Sergeant Adam Roberts whilst the parents and cadets watched on a radio TV link into our main hall. The buffet afterwards was well and truly demolished. A proud day for all. The photographs taken on the day are available here.
