Beaver Air Activity Day
On 11 March 2008 we paid a visit to a joint meeting of the 1st Rhiwbina and 1st Llanishen Beaver Scout Groups to help the Beavers obtain their Air Activity badge. The Beavers practiced drill movements and saluting, and learnt about powered aircraft and gliders. They saw 2 videos made by the cadets about powered and winch launched gliders, and then put together small model glider kits. The Beavers and the Cadets involved enjoyed themselves immensely, and this is apparent in the photographs which you can see here. Thanks go to all the cadets involved.
