The Teeth

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Thanks to a string of self released EP's and albums, this Philadelphia quartet has garnered quite an impressive following. Ever since 2001's Send My Regards To the Sunshine, their first full-length, twin brothers Aaron and Pete MoDavis' haunting arrangements and lush harmonies have been forcing listeners to take notice.

According to the The Teeth's official website, their upcoming album: You're My Lover Now, will be released in June trough Park the Van Records. They are currently touring with fellow philly outfit Dr. Dog.

Folklore

Athens, Georgia

Fronted by singer/songwriter Jimmy Hughes, of Elf Power fame, Folklore combines solid melodies with crunchy guitars, horns, and storytelling to get their own distinct concept based pop sound. The newly released full-length album: The Ghost of H.W Beaverman tells the story of yup, you guessed it: H.W. Beaverman. Beaverman is a solid release with a coat of that Elephant 6 collective magic we've come to know and love.
