Grand bethel was really fun and amusing. There were late nights, hard seats, and spike high heels. I noticed that nearly everyone who spoke in the mic cried, and that YMCA is a favored song. I learned that I don't "wanna be a chicken", I really dont "wanna be a duck", and I certainly dont "want to shake my butt". Hanging out with my friends for 3 days was really fun, sugar filled, and tiring. One thing to NEVER do after a GB session is eat 4 pancakes, bacon, chocolate ice cream, cola, cheese fries, and about a pound of candy, because believe me, you won't sleep a wink! All in all, it was very enjoyable, and now Im glad I can actually get some sleep!

During this Grand Bethel, I realized just how important the bond is between bethel sisters (and even those outside of your bethel.... ahem....3.....). Lots of fun little moments happened throughout this 3 day adventure that I can still smile about today. From using Caroline's head as a ram to separate inflatable tubes in the wave pool ("Oh no... Oh no... Oh no...."), giving makeovers to nearly every single girl during the closing ceremony, watching Athena nearly fly off a raft going down some crazy slide, having Tricia convince people to wear a sticker with my title on it instead of getting a trade item, discussing with Diana how painful eating with a "spife" (spoon plus knife) would be, throwing things at Cynthia's head to get her to dance (it worked too), having Catherine and her bethel "rescue" me from "Grand Bethel Pits", teaching Jamie how to take pantyhose off in public (discreetly of course), yelling at Cara for eating the chocolate cake out of turn, to, of course, eating all of Sammy's sausages at Denny's, I can certainly say that our bethel girls made this particular Grand Bethel memorable. Now I just have to convince them to do the variety show next year exhibiting all of my infamous dance moves :-D!
