It occurred to us that the only way to defeat the slippery little Thingies was to invite them to their demise by making them an offer they just couldn't refuse ...

 

A really comfy room with food to die for, and along they come, doing what they do best, eating our food, only now in the Cosy Slug & Snail Hutt, and not in my veg..

So came to life our Snail and Slug Trap and with it, not a little pride.

It worked so well that in one week, we cleared our third of an acre of Garden Slugs, [ at around 50/60 Slugs to Ye Olde British Lbd.,or around 130 to the Kg, emptying twice a Night ] and Handfuls of Snails,  some of which were left for our toad, who, not being a silly toad, lived within the Slugs and Snails hiding places, alas, in this untreated Organic Garden, Fat Toad couldn't keep up with the population explosion ..
